DV Studio Technologies Offers DVD
Creation Plug-in
Yorba Linda, CA—9th November 2001—DV Studio Technologies, LLC (DVST) announced today that it has created plug-in software to add DVD Creation capabilities to Adobe Premiere 6.0 and 6.0 LE. The new product is called Apollo/Premiere Plug-In. The plug in enables users of Adobe Premiere to create DVDs from within Premiere 6.0 or 6.0 LE. The Apollo/Premiere Plug-in automatically extracts data from Premiere’s time line and converts it into DVD-compliant MPEG-2 streams. It also provides for the automatic creation of up to 16 index points comprising a thumb-nail image of each video chapter point. It then completes the premastering and DVD burning functions. All current DVD burner models are supported and an upgrade path will be provided for new models. A SDK is available under license to OEM customers.
