Apollo Expert Archiver – successor to Apollo Expert Plus. DVD Archiving System. Supports analog and digital video formats, all DVD burners, and includes auto-indexing to create thumb-nail navigation points.

Apollo/Premiere Plug-in – augments Adobe Premiere 6.0 or 6.0 LE with DVD Creation capabilities.

Apollo Expert Plus – successor to Apollo Expert DVDer. Includes MPEG-2 software encoder to enable DV footage to be transcoded into DVD images.

Apollo Expert DVDer – a single board MPEG-2 encoding and playback solution that is affordably priced to bring MPEG-2 video creation to desktops. Captures video and audio from any video source in real time, and converts it into MPEG-2 quality video and digital audio formats. This highly compressed MPEG-2 file can be utilized in any digital domain such as DVD, DVD-ROM, Super VCD, Internet or broadcast. Designed for the Windows NT platform, it comes complete with hardware, software – everything the user needs to immediately begin encoding and playback.

Apollo Express – a low cost, single board MPEG-2 encoder that targets the prosumer market. Captures video and audio from any video source in real time and converts it into MPEG-2 quality video and digital audio formats. Designed for encoding only. Differentiated from Apollo Expert as follows: it is based on the Windows 95/98 platform, requires a less powerful CPU and comes without the built-in decoder.

Apollo Station – a custom MPEG-2 encoding station with a turnkey computer system – ready to do the job right out of the box. In addition to the installed NT operating system, all application software is installed and pre-configured to the customer's exact specifications. The system is then tested for 48 hours before it is shipped. Also included is a DVD disc that demonstrates how to set up and run Apollo Station in 30 minutes.

Apollo Streamer – a low cost solution for real-time streaming MPEG-2 data over Ethernet LANs. Encodes live video into MPEG-2 format and streams the digital video data in real-time over the LAN to other systems where the MPEG-2 data can be decoded with a software or hardware decoder.

Apollo 4/TV – a low cost MPEG-1 encoder board bundled with productivity software. A PCI single board solution that is virtually plug and play. Brings an affordable, high- quality, easy-to-use, video-authoring solution to the Windows 95/98 desktop market. Capable of real-time video capture and playback (MPEG-1 and AVI format). Accepts S-Video or Composite inputs and can capture high-resolution still images from any video source.

Dr. Ash Pahwa, CEO & Chief Technology Officer
Company founder Ash Pahwa, Ph.D. is considered an industry pioneer in the technologies which made CD and DVD recording possible. After creating CD-Gen and CD-Arch software for pre-mastering and mastering, he went on to develop the real-time MPEG-1 encoder card products Apollo and MPEG Camera. He led the development team which produced the company's widely-used Apollo Expert MPEG-2 encoder card for the OEM market. Dr. Pahwa is also at the forefront of MPEG-7 commercialization and is a member of the standards committee. He is the co-author of the NAB 2004 presentation, "Content Search & Extraction via MPEG-7".

Dr. Pahwa has lectured on MPEG, DVD, and CD technologies at Oxford University, UCLA, and USC. He has been a consultant to various Fortune 500 companies, including Oracle, Xerox, AT&T Bell Laboratories, and General Electric. He is the author of the book, "CD-Recordable Bible" (Pemberton Press, 1994). Dr. Pahwa has been invited to make presentations at various industry conferences including COMDEX, CD-ROM Expo, Microsoft CD-ROM, AIIM, FCC, VideoExpo, Digital Hollywood, Multimedia Expo, FOSE and ONLINE/CD-ROM. He is listed in "Who's Who in the Frontiers of Science and Technology".

Dr. Pahwa earned a Bachelor of Engineering (HONS) degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India (1975); a Post Graduate diploma in Computer Science from the University of Roorkee in Roorkee, India (1976); and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Kansas (1978). In 1984, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Stephen Godfrey, VP Marketing & Sales
Stephen Godfrey drives DV Studio Incorporated's global marketing and sales effort. With over two decades of experience in audio/video/multimedia technologies, services, and distribution channels, Mr. Godfrey has held similar positions in the USA with Horita, Samsung America, FutureVideo, Comprehensive Video, Nortronics, and with Bib in the UK.

Mr. Godfrey was previously an officer of desktop video editing & tape transport control pioneer FutureVideo in which he holds an equity position. As an officer of Bib, he designed the firm’s award-winning Videophile Edition VCR maintenance products range and merchandisers.

Throughout his career, Mr. Godfrey has been committed to helping educate and empower the end-user. He is the author of the book, Making Your Own DVDs. He has conducted "Making Your Own DVDs" seminars at DV Studio Incorporated, plus "Recorder Care" clinics and "Tape Head Re-lapping" seminars at Nortronics. During his decade with FutureVideo, the professional/industrial video divisions of Panasonic in Canada and the USA routinely invited him to participate in their trade exhibitions, desktop video road shows, and national dealer meetings. Mr. Godfrey has been a frequent guest panelist at Videomaker Expo seminars and various other industry forums during his career.
He is also co-author of the NAB 2004 White Paper, "Content Search & Extraction via MPEG-7".
